MLAs Coming In Bus And Cabs, CM Vijay To Give Cars?

The chief minister of Tamil Nadu, Joseph Vijay has been taking several diplomatic decisions with regard to public policy making. He has been trying his best to be close to the public of Tamil Nadu and understand the ground level situation to the fullest.

On that note, we have the latest development where chief minister Vijay has reportedly identified that several of the first time MLAs in Tamil Nadu have been struggling with transportation.

Thanks to the tremendous wave created by Vijay in Tamil Nadu assembly election, several common people, including auto drivers, unemployed students and others became MLAs on TVK’s behalf.

Apparently, these people are still continuing with public transportation like buses and cabs even to this day. They are reportedly not in a position to attend the public meetings and hold their offices on time due to the delay in commute.

So, chief Minister, Vijay has reportedly decided to consider the idea of providing a Car and related allowances to driver and fuelling for every single MLA in Tamil Nadu. This decision doesn’t just cover the TVK MLAs but all the other party MLAs too in the state.

There is a bit of public backlash on social media regarding the idea of providing MLAs with cars and drivers as this could be a waste of public money. But upholding the office and overlooking public representation is also crucial which is why Vijay could be contemplating this decision in the first place.
