“I was leading every comfortable and settled, live with my family in the US. When I asked people that I was aspiring to enter politics, 10 out of 10 asked me not to. They said my money would be exploited, and I would be used for political gains. But I had this intuition that I need to bring a change and see where it got me.” Pemmasani said.

The kind of extraordinary rise that Pemmasani Chandrashekar in politics is absolutely remarkable as he won a super important seat like Guntur parliamentary segment in his first attempt by tremendous margin. And he quickly followed it up with philanthropic and socially motivated activities here which gained a lot of good trust.

The long pending Guntur Bridge project is also quickly being constructed under his regime and this would cement his position to the fullest capacity soon. His life changed completely in a span of 3 years as he went from a super successful businessman in US to an authoritarian politician in a hard fought state like Andhra Pradesh. In fact, he has become a union minister already.
