Employees Made Rs 4300 Cr From Kaleshwaram?

The Kaleshwaram project that was prestigiously launched by the previous KCR government in Telangana is one of the biggest agricultural projects in South India. While the intention might have been very honest to deliver agricultural water provision for farmers, this project faces serious allegations of corruption. 

Now there is a shocking report that is sharing by BJP leadership regarding this Kaleshwaram project, which is painting a very bad picture of the entire scenario.

Reportedly, just four officials linked to Kaleshwaram amassed assets worth around ₹770 crore which speaks volumes about the financial irregularities.  

The BRS called Kaleshwaram the world’s largest irrigation project but it ended up looking like the world’s largest corruption project, alleged BJP’s Bandi Sanjay on this matter. 

Across departments, few reports reportedly show 25 officials with assets of more than ₹100 crore each, totalling around ₹4,320 crore, with the alleged wealth accumulated during the BRS regime. 

The fact that employees surveyors and other officials associated with a single project amassed more than ₹4300 crore in span of a few years is as shocking as it can get. 

There have been countless allegations on the corruption that happened in the construction of the Kaleshwaram project, but there is still no corrective measure on the same. The local BJP leaders have been demanding CBI investigation to be commissioned by the Congress government, but that is taking longer than expected.
