Pawan’s Big Move for Pulivendula, Beyond Politics

The Pulivendula Assembly constituency has been with the YS family for many decades. This family has been ruling this segment for more than four decades with no real competition.

But for the first time, Jagan’s majority went down significantly in the 2024 election. His majority went down from around 91,000 in 2019 to around 60,000 in 2024.

This was substantiated further when the TDP managed to secure the ZPTC by elections in Pulivendula, which is something unprecedented in this Jagan segment.

Now the deputy CM of Andhra Pradesh, Pawan Kalyan is taking a pretty big step towards Pulivendula beyond political gains.

Under the Jal Jeevan Mission-Amravaani Watershed, Deputy CM Pawan Kalyan is transparently and apolitically advancing drinking water projects taken up across the state, mainly Kadapa.

He is giving special priority to schemes that were initiated and then neglected by the previous government, pushing them forward.

In a direction to provide a permanent solution to the long-standing drinking water problems faced by the people of YSR Kadapa district, Pulivendula constituency, and surrounding areas for many years, Pawan Kalyan has taken special care to expedite the construction works of the mega water grid scheme.

The water grid issue with Pulivendula has been going on for many years. Despite being the CM of Andhra, Jagan did not focus on this issue in his period. But Pawan Kalyan is doing something remarkable as he is setting his foot forward for this Pulivendula region now.
