The chief minister of Andhra Pradesh, Chandrababu Naidu is regarded as one of the most visionary leaders in India, and he is always first in line when it comes to taking innovative measures.
Now, chief minister Chandrababu has taken a pretty big step towards AI powered medical service provision and he’s named it Sanjeevani.
CM has directed officials to implement the Sanjeevani Project across Andhra Pradesh from January 1, with the aim of making healthcare more accessible, effective and affordable.
The successful outcomes from the Sanjeevani programme in Kuppam and Chittoor will serve as the foundation for a robust statewide action plan. As a part of this project, strong focus will be kept on AI-powered healthcare while digitalising health records
AI-enabled screening, treatment and follow-up, direct health updates to citizens’ mobile phones and, preventive, curative and cost-effective healthcare will be the hallmark traits of this program.
He said that full-scale implementation of the Sanjeevani Project with digital health records could bring about unprecedented changes in medical services. The CM suggested that the project should be made a success so that other states follow Andhra Pradesh’s lead in healthcare services.
Chandrababu had been repeatedly emphasising on the need to incorporate AI into healthcare and other crucial aspects of the governance, and he appears to be on the job now.
