Konda Surekha To Be Shown The Exit Door?

Konda Surekha is one of the fire brand leaders for the Congress party in Telangana, and she had been an instrumental leader for the party in the Warangal region for many years. Now she is finding herself in the middle of controversy with regard to the recent incidents.

On one hand, there is this narrative that the congress leadership, including the Delhi high command is serious on Surekha and demanded her recitation from the cabinet.

But this is followed by a strong statement from Konda Surekha as she sat in front of the Media yesterday and said she would not resign her position and the only way to get her out is birthruff her.

At the same time, she also pointed out that there are certain forces acting against her within the Telangana Congress leadership, and she has firsthand idea of this. This is a strong indication that she is in no mood to resign her cabinet position.

The presence of multiple big level leaders like Revanth Reddy, Mallikarjuna Kharge, KC Venugopal and Konda Surekha, her herself in Delhi is indicating that the matter is very serious.

Considering the fact that Revanth Reddy is going to return to Hyderabad from Delhi this afternoon could indicate that something big could be happening later today or tomorrow.

In the context of the piling pressure from the congress leadership, Konda Surekha and her husband Murali are likely to come in front of the media shortly and they could be addressing the series of events.

Amidst reports that the leadership had decisively instructed her to leave the cabinet on priority, this press conference from Surekha could be very descriptive in nature. Her reaction to this development is likely to be very strong in nature too.

Needless to say, removing a senior leader, like Konda Surekha from the Cabinet would take a lot of political pressure. So we have to patiently wait and see what would be the outcome of this Konda Surekha episode.
