If You’re Not On Instagram, You’re Outdated: Naidu

AP CM and TDP Supremo Chandrababu Naidu has made very interesting political comments. Naidu told TDP leaders that all surveys were favouring the alliance. He stressed the need to stay united and keep all the internal disputes within them. He said any such issues should be resolved amicably within the closed doors and not to make any fuss about them in front of the media or public domain.

Speaking at the TDP Leadership Conclave in Amaravati, Naidu gave directions to party leaders and elected representatives. He said unity within the alliance was crucial and advised leaders not to create unnecessary disputes or bring internal issues into the public.

Talking about the transition in media, CM Babu said, social media has emerged as a deciding factor.  “Once, it was All India Radio. Then Newspapers. Later, Television Channels took over. But today, it is all about social media. No one has the patience to listen for hours. Whatever you want to say, say it in less than 50 seconds. No matter how senior you are, if you are not using Instagram and YouTube, you are outdated.”

A similar shift is visible at the national level, with PM Narendra Modi increasingly adopting Instagram and short video formats to connect with younger audiences. Following the recent Gen Z led protests and growing youth engagement on social media, Modi has personally appeared in selfie style reels and direct to camera videos, using a more casual tone to address young Indians and respond to their concerns.

Chandrababu also asked political leaders to understand the current political situation and make use of the many opportunities available to the state. He said the government would prepare a report on the state’s financial situation and was working to bring different kinds of investments to the Visakhapatnam region.

Chandrababu said permanently solving the water problem would help address several other issues in the state and asked all leaders to focus on it.
