Political rivalry must always be limited to political lines, and it cannot go to personal grudges or vindictive actions. But considering the extremely direct nature of Telugu politics, this line is often erased.
Now we have the case of a Congress MLA, who has made a highly inappropriate comment while speaking about former CM of Telangana KCR.
The Congress MLA in question here is Veerlapalli Shankaraiah who is the sitting MLA from Shad Nagar constituency. He made a highly inappropriate comment on KCR while addressing the Media today.
Sankaraiah said he wishes KCR would die soon. Yes, you heard that right. These were the exact words of Congress MLA from Shadnagar, Sankaraiah, as he openly said he wished for KCR’s death.
When the Media asked him to elaborate on this, the MLA said he wishes that KCR dies very soon as he is a bad omen to the entire state of Telangana. This wild and inappropriate comment from the MLA has immediately triggered a lot of backlash on social media.
Many people are commenting that it is extremely pathetic to see a sitting MLA pray for the death of former CM who has a statesman image. Having a political rivalry and difference in opinion is one thing, but wishing the death of the other individual is not acceptable in the democratic system, remarks a seasoned observer.
