Will Chinna Srinu’s Exit Really Hurt Botsa?

YSR Congress Senior Leader Botsa Satyanarayana’s nephew, Chinna Srinu, ditched the party and joined the Telugu Desam Party all of a sudden.

Chinna Srinu is the right-hand man of Botsa, who took care of the constituency and district when the latter was busy in state politics.

Whenever a leader joins a party. Obviously, that party will claim it as a huge loss to the opposite party. The party which lost the leader will put up a brave face, saying that the leader is a spent force.

So how do we gauge the impact of Chinna Srinu?

It is an open secret that Botsa and Chinna Srinu have had differences since the 2024 elections.

After Botsa was defeated in 2024, Jagan made him an MLC and appointed him as the Leader of Opposition in the Council.

Even though there are differences between Botsa and Chinna Srinu, Jagan did not ignore the latter.

He made Chinna Srinu as the Vizianagaram YSR Congress District President and also gave him the incharge responsibility of Bheemili Assembly segment.

Jagan realized the importance of Chinna Srinu and kept him in good humor even if Botsa did not like it. So this exit will definitely hurt YSR Congress in the district.
