The last time cockroach janta party took to the street to protest against a top official, it resulted in the resignation of education minister Dharmendra Pradhan. This was due to the allegations regarding NEET question paper leakage.
This protest was largely supported by students who turned up in big numbers at Jantar Mantar, which resulted in the central government, taking excessive pressure and eventually getting Dharmendra Pradhan to resign.
Now the same cockroach party is back on the same mission now as they are demanding the designation of election commission chief Gyanesh Kumar.
Addressing a press conference, Cockroach Janata Party founder Abhijeet Dipke, says, “If within 48 hours Gyanesh Kumar doesn’t resign, the Cockroach Janata Party will start a nationwide agitation. We won’t step back till the time Gyanesh Kumar resigns.”
This was substantiated by a solid statement from the CJP chief Abhijeet Dipke as he said “Chief Election Commissioner is the biggest anti-national. Gyanesh Kumar is the biggest anti-national of this country. He should resign immediately because he is the biggest threat to India’s democracy. What did democracy mean in our country?
Democracy meant that the people would elect the government. Since Gyanesh Kumar became the Chief Election Commissioner, the government has been deciding who will be allowed to vote and who will not. Is this democracy?.”
It is evident that the cockroach party is threatening to take to the streets in Jantar Mantar again, if the EC chief does not resign within the next 48 hours. If this protest also gains traction, then the Government might be left with no other option, but to fire him in view of the constant allegations.
