The Vivekananda Reddy murder case has taken a fresh turn, with the Enforcement Directorate intensifying its investigation into the alleged financial transactions linked to the killing.
After questioning key accused Yadati Sunil Yadav and Yerra Gangi Reddy, the ED has now summoned Kadapa MP YS Avinash Reddy to appear on October 14.
The agency is primarily investigating the alleged 40 crore deal linked to the murder. It is also examining claims of advance payments, cash transfers and financial transactions involving the accused.
The ED has reportedly questioned several individuals about the alleged money trail, including the source of funds and their movement after the murder. Searches were also conducted at multiple locations in Hyderabad and Kadapa.
Meanwhile, Avinash has been named as an accused by the CBI and has denied the allegations, maintaining that he and his family have been falsely implicated. The latest ED summons has brought renewed attention to the high profile case.
