Rahul Gandhi Gets Strong Partner From South

Indian politics are starting to change very quickly in view of the ongoing agitation against the chief electoral officer Gyanesh Kumar. The opposition parties are starting to unite at an unprecedented pace to fight against the election commission and subsequently the central government too.

In this connection, something very interesting is happening in South India as the opposition leader, Rahul Gandhi has found a very strong companion.

It has been communicated by the Tamil Nadu Congress wing that TVK, which is represented by Thalapathy Vijay has officially joined the INDIA alliance.

It must be kept in mind that the TVK was already in alliance with the Congress to form the government in Tamil Nadu, but this was confined to the state level alliance. But now this communication from the Congress indicates that the TVK has joined the INDIA bloc at national level.

Vijay-led TVK has joined the INDIA alliance. It’s a very historic day for the INDIA alliance. The INDIA alliance, particularly in Tamil Nadu, is to be strengthened by the entry of TVK, the statement from Tamil Nadu Congress Senior leadership said.

Vijay is one of the most charismatic and mass leaders in Tamil Nadu and he has significant following in other South Indian states, including Andhra Pradesh, Telangana and Kerala as well. His alliance with INDIA is likely to add a lot of glamour and muscle to the national agenda.

This would essentially mean that all of South India, except Andhra Pradesh is a part of the INDIA bloc as Kerala, Tamil Nadu, Karnataka, and Telangana are with Congress. This fight is going to be all the more interesting now.
