Tough Election Ahead For KTR?

Telangana politics is extremely aggressive, and that is becoming increasingly evident as Chief Minister Revanth Reddy directly locks horns with KCR and KTR.

In fact, Revanth Reddy has now started a direct battle against KTR from his very own constituency of Siricilla. This comes at a time when KTR is already having to deal with the phone tapping allegations case and the Formula E scam case.

On top of that Revanth Reddy has asked the people of Siricilla to snub KTR and give Congress the opportunity of developing this constituency. It is evident that the chief minister himself has placed a lot of emphasis on this particular constituency, which has been with KTR for more than a decade.

Now KTR appears to have found a more challenging situation as his own sister Kavita has floated the possibility of contesting the Siricilla seat next time around.

Kavita was asked if there is the prospect of her contesting from the Vemulawada Assembly constituency next election. She had an interesting reaction to this as she replied “Why not from Siricilla?”.

This could be a potential indication that Kavitha made also be fancying, her chances from the constituency that belongs to her brother. Considering the hardened relationship with her brother which took bad turns in the recent past, there’s a very good chance that Kavita might seriously consider contesting from here.

For the first time in his political career, KTR is facing enormous burden, not just at the state level, but also at his own constituency level. The 2028 battle for KTR is going to be that much more intense as he will not just have to lead the BRS in the state election but also guard his own Siricilla with everything he’s got.
