One of the prominent critics of the Narendra Modi government on social media, Dhruv Rathee, has been vocal about several issues concerning the government for years. He is now back in India and has joined the ongoing political developments surrounding the protests against SIR and Chief Election Commissioner Gyanesh Kumar.
Rathee has already joined hands with CJP leaders, including Abhijeet Dipke, and actor Prakash Raj. The trio featured in a joint video inviting people to participate in the upcoming protest at Freedom Park in Bengaluru.
The protest is scheduled to take place tomorrow and is focused on SIR and demands concerning Gyanesh Kumar. Rathee’s participation has attracted attention as he has largely expressed his political views through his digital platforms rather than taking part in street protests.
For the past two months, protests have been taking place at different locations over the issue. Rathee joining the campaign and appearing alongside CJP leaders marks a notable development in the ongoing protests.
There is also speculation about Rathee’s possible participation in the larger protest planned for October 10. His latest appearance with CJP leaders has added further attention to the preparations surrounding the event.
With Rathee now back in India and openly joining the campaign, his participation in the Bengaluru protest is expected to draw significant attention. The joint video with Abhijeet Dipke and Prakash Raj has already put the spotlight on tomorrow’s protest.
