Tamil Nadu is historically known to have some of the best roadway systems in India. Not only is the quality of the road superior here, but the maintenance aspect is also appreciated by everyone.
However, there was an extremely detrimental incident that happened at the famous old Mahabalipuram Road in Chennai today, which immediately went viral on social media.
In this particular video that is trending, we see a car getting sunk in a massive hole that has formed at this usually super busy road. This is one of the major and unexpected lapses in the roadway maintenance system in the state.
However, the rescue measures were extremely quick as the members inside the car escaped unhurt. Immediate repair works for commissioned as the concrete filling was completed within a matter of few hours.
The road should be up and functional in a matter of few more hours, and this speaks a lot about the commitment that the Tamil Nadu government has towards public roads.
