BJP is Raavan, Congress Is Ram: Revanth Reddy!

Telangana chief minister Revanth Reddy has started to make religious references with regard to Indian politics. He recently said North India worships Prabhu Sriram, while the Southern part of the country is heavily connected with Lord Shiva. He brought class angle into this by saying Siva is the god of the poor and needy.

Now the Telangana chief minister who happens to be in Goa has made an interesting public statement and he has again brought the religious angle into it.

CM Revanth Reddy commented that BJP has emerged as the Ravan of India for all the bad deeds that they had been committing. On the contrary, we have the Congress party, which is the equivalent of Lord Sriram, Revanth said.

The Telangana chief minister commented that the people of India must come together to fight this battle on behalf of Lord Sriram(Congress) to defeat the impending Raavan(BJP).

This comes at a time when the Congress party is actively moving towards a massive protest against the election commissioner in Delhi. Revanth Reddy is already set to arrive in Delhi to take part in this massive protest that is starting on Monday.

What is for certain is that a political battle is clearly unfolding between the BJP and the Congress at multiple levels. It is interesting to note that Revanth Reddy has brought the religious angle into this by labelling the BJP as Raavan while projecting Congress as the rightful Lord Shri Ram.
