After making extensive allegations against the election commission and the EVM procedure after the 2024 elections, YS Jagan rather silent while opposition parties actually started to protest against the CEC.
Now there is active pressure piling on Jagan for his strategic silence while the NDA government and the central election commission is facing extreme pressure from the opposition regarding the resignation of election commissioner, Gyanesh Kumar.
So now the YCP has posted a namesake update on social media regarding the chief election officer. The social media handle of the party asked nine questions regarding the 2024 election result, but did not mention any names or the system involved.
There were a few questions like how the polling went beyond 11:45 PM and also about how the percentage increased mysteriously after 6 PM. The party question the delay in the release of form 20 as well. But these questions are extremely interesting in nature, and there is no specific timeline associated with them.
While the opposition leaders across India, including Rahul Gandhi, Arvind Kejriwal, Mamata Banerjee and others have been openly protesting against the CEC, Jagan is nowhere in the scene. Even the YCP ecosystem has confined their protest to a simple social media post.
This is adding more weight to the existing complaints about Jagan and his silent surrender to the NDA despite being in opposition.
