Is BJP Behind Dhanush’s Political Entry?

Tamil star Dhanush is the latest actor making headlines over a possible political entry. Rumours suggest that he may launch his own party, with the name Tamilaga Ezhuchi Kazhagam doing the rounds. However, Dhanush has not officially announced any political plans.

The speculation gained fresh attention after Dhanush’s fan association organised a Diwali gathering for its women’s wing members. He reportedly gifted them silver Kamakshi lamps featuring a lotus design at the bottom. Since the lotus is the BJP’s election symbol, the gift has triggered speculation about a possible political connection.

Dhanush has also reportedly reorganised his fan association, renaming it Dhanush Narpani Iyakkam and unveiling a new flag. The association is expected to focus on welfare activities, but some observers see these developments as preparations for a larger political move.

Actor Vijay’s political success in Tamil Nadu has also fuelled discussions about other stars entering politics. Dhanush’s supporters appear to be stepping up their activities amid the growing rumours.

There is also renewed interest in Dhanush’s family connections. He was previously married to Aishwaryaa Rajinikanth, daughter of superstar Rajinikanth. Reports about Rajinikanth’s wife meeting BJP leaders and speculation over a possible Rajya Sabha nomination have added another layer to the discussion.
