Andhra Pradesh local body elections have produced an interesting political result in Konaseema district. In Kothapeta, a father and daughter contested against the political backdrop of two rival parties and both managed to win their respective MPTC seats.
The daughter, Chandini, contested on a TDP ticket, while her father Satyanarayana entered the fray representing YSRCP. Despite belonging to different political camps, both secured victories in their respective constituencies.
The result has turned into an interesting talking point, with one family celebrating two electoral victories under two different party flags. While political differences separated the father and daughter during the election, the final result brought happiness to both.
