Liquor Queues: CM KCR’s Warning Works

Ending 45 day-long embargo on liquor sales due to the imposed lockdown, the liquor shops in Telangana state have been opened today. This naturally resulted in long queues as boozers started waiting outside shops since early morning.

Interestingly, social distance is being strictly followed outside the stores which is a good sign. Unlike Andhra Pradesh and other states where social distance norms were flouted, rules are strictly followed in Telangana. Police personnel are ensuring that everything is going smooth.

The other day, CM KCR has passed strict orders to maintain social distance and gave warning to the liquor outlets that any outlet where social distance is disobeyed and customers allowed without masks would be taken action against. He said the outlet which flouts rules would be shut immediately. He asked liquor outlet owners and people to following the orders.

Even the boozers who are standing in queues are really well behaving and following the protocols strictly. Looks like, CM KCR’s warning has really worked well. And kudos to people who are really behaving well and conducting things in a proper way.
