Komatireddy To Join BJP

Even as the confusion surrounding the Telangana state PCC post continues and Komatireddy Venkat Reddy, Revanth Reddy are the front runners for the post, here comes a major blow to the beleaguered Congress party in Telangana. One of the party’s key leaders in Nalgonda district and own brother of Komatireddy Venkat Reddy, Komatireddy Raj Gopal Reddy, is all set to join BJP. None other than Raj Gopal himself stated that he would be joining the Lotus Party.

Raj Gopal Reddy, the sitting MLA from Munugode constituency in Nalgonda district and younger brother of Venkat Reddy, is going to switch over to the BJP soon. Earlier, Raj Gopal Reddy had stated that BJP would emerge as a strong force in Telangana and as an alternative to the TRS. Making his predictions true, BJP won Dubbak by-election and gave a tough fight to the TRS in the GHMC elections.

Komatireddy Raj Gopal Reddy visited Tirumala today on the New Year eve. After visiting Lord Balaji, Raj Gopal hinted about his political future course of action. He said he sticks to his previous statement over the BJP’s strengthening in Telangana. He said there are chances of him joining the BJP even if his brother is in the Congress. “Brothers may have differences of opinion. My brother Komatireddy Venkat Reddy will remain in Congress,” said Raj Gopal Reddy.
