The Vizag gas leak episode has caused a devastation in the city. The visuals of people lying lifeless on the roads and residents are quite disturbing. TDP chief Chandrababu Naidu was shocked and anguished by this incident and has directed the party men to take part in the rescue operations.
However, Chandrababu wanted to travel to Vizag to oversee the situation. According the TDP chief had written to Principal Secretary of the Prime Minister’s office this morning, seeking permission to travel to Vizag. Taking the situation into consideration, the Principal Secretary replied to Chandrababu, granting the permission to travel.
Currently Chandrababu is in Hyderabad and in a special helicopter, he will be flying to Vizag.
