Vizag Tragedy: Naidu’s Matured Comments

Opposition leader and Telugu Desam supremo N. Chandrababu Naidu said it was not the time for blame game but quick action that could save the lives of Vizag gas tragedy victims. The former CM said that priority was to protect the lives of the people.

Speaking to national media, Naidu, who always finds fault with the YSRC government in the state, said political leaders and officials should focus on bringing back normalcy in the area and stop pointing fingers at each other. He urged Prime Minister Narendra Modi to send medical experts from across the nation to provide medical assistance to the victims.

In the wake of the bitter rivalry between the Telugu Desam and YSRC, Naidu’s remarks on quick action are being welcomed by the public. His words reflect the maturity of a politician with 40 years of experience, say the public.

People hope that these remarks will bring about a change in the politics in the state which has been reeling under financial crisis since bifurcation in 2014.
