Telangana Health Minister Eatala Rajender announced he would take the first vaccine shot the other day. He now backed out and said he is not doing so as per Prime Minister’s strict instruction.
Eatala Rajender wanted to get the first vaccine shot in the state to encourage people of the state to get vaccinated with confidence and to promote safety, but he had gone against it later.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi sent strict instructions all over that the health workers are the first to receive the vaccine shot. Eatala said he is a minister and it is his duty to follow the PM’s instructions.
It is already known that Krishnamma became the first in Telangana to get the Covid vaccine. PM reportedly stated to all the CMs to not jump the queue and have to wait their turn, even their intention was to instill confidence.
