Tirupati Lok Sabha by-election is turning interesting as political parties want to show their dominance in the temple town. Ruling YSRCP and Opposition TDP are keen on fighting for the Tirupati seat. BJP and Janasena are also planing to give a tough fight as they are contemplating to field their joint candidate in the by-poll.
According to reports,
former IAS officer Ratna Prabhas’s name is widely heard. An IAS officer of 1981 batch, Ratna Prabha had served in several key portfolios in Karnataka. She served as the Chief Secretary of Karnataka. Ratna Prabha had joined BJP in April 2019 in Karnataka state. She said she joined BJP impressed with Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s works for the country.
Ratna Prabha hails from Prakasam district. She had also served in Andhra Pradesh on deputation for sometime. Ratna Prabha’s father Kathi Chandraiah, brother Pradeep Chandra and husband Vidya Sagar served as AP cadre IAS officers.
Considering that Ratna Prabha is a fire-brand leader, BJP and Janasena parties are contemplating to field her as their candidate in Tirupati Lok Sabha by-election.
