The Government of India got inspired from Telanagana’s Rythu Bandhu scheme and Mission Bhageeratha scheme in the past and introduced Kisaan Samman Yojana and Jal Jeevan Mission respectively. In this year’s budget, they introduced another new scheme called Gareeb Kalyan Lakshmi, which got inspired from Telangana’s Kalyana Lakshmi scheme.

While presenting the budget, Nirmala Sitharaman said that this year’s budget is laid on six pillars, which are Health and Wellbeing, Infrastructure, Inclusive development, Research and development, Development of human capital, Minimum government and Maximum governance.
