Now Congress Bats For Eatala As Telangana CM

In the Telangana political circles there is a lot of debate on KTR becoming the CM. TRS party insiders believe that KCR will step down from CM chair in the third of February and make KTR as the next CM. TRS cabinet ministers are already in favour of KTR and they have already congratulated him on public platforms.

But the oppositions are not liking this. A few days back BJP firebrand leader and Nizamabad MP Dharmapuri Aravind commented that if there is anyone who is credible enough to take the CM chair from KCR, it would be current health minister Eatala Rajender. Aravind criticised KTR that he was an NRI and has no integrity to take over from his father KCR.

Now Congress has joined this debate and batted for Eatala. MLC Jeevan Reddy spoke to the press at the Assembly’s media point. “Though KTR is capable, Eatala is far better to be the CM. People have an opinion that if KTR becomes CM, it is because of his father’s blessing,” said Jeevan Reddy and diplomatically he defended his comments that this is in the thoughts of the general public.

Another MLC Cheruku Sudhakar demanded that in case KCR steps down, the backward section leaders and primarily Eatala should be given the responsibility to lead the state and government. “If KCR doesn’t make Eatala CM, it would be evident that he promotes only his family,” added Sudhakar.

That way the support from Eatala is growing from outside the TRS party. Will this bother KTR? Can’t answer right now.
