In Prakasham district the polling percentage recorded is 19.23 percent while the overall polling percentage is 17.11 in the first two hours. TDP MLA Atcchannaidu who is in jail, casted his vote with heavy security in Nammada. After four decades, this place has gone for Panchayat polls and so adequate security arrangements are made.

The polling will be held till 3:30 PM and at 4 PM, the results will be declared. Keeping in view of sensitive areas at some places, AP SEC has restricted the polling time till 1: 30 PM.

Also keeping the Covid-19 in view, the AP SEC has provided PPE kits to polling staff. Also voters are asked to wear a mask to cast their vote.
