Shah’s Tirupati Visit: Focus By-Poll

The by-poll of Tirupati is still suspense yet the announcement may come anytime. In view of this, Union Home Minister and former National President of BJP Amit Shah has confirmed his visit to Tirupati. On March 4th, Shah will be visiting the temple town.

However the main purpose of Shah’s visit is a different one. A meeting with Chief Ministers of South Indian states is scheduled on March 4th. In this meeting, the water sharing row pertaining to the five south states will be discussed. From CMs to Chief Secretaries and irrigation officials will be gracing the meeting.

The next day i.e, on March 5th, Shah will be holding a meeting with AP BJP leaders. In this Shah will be directing leaders to work on how to win the Tirupati by-elections. AP BJP leaders are on alert and all set to brief Shah during the visit. Most likely BJP will contest the Lok Sabha seat despite their alliance with Jana Sena.

So it will be BJP in the poll foray and Jana Sena might confine itself to campaign.
