Once upon a time he was a minister in YSR’s cabinet. He had held Agricultural Minister portfolio. Wherever he had traveled, a big convoy and gun men used to accompany him. Gone are those days. Now Raghuveera is an ordinary man. To cast his vote in adjacent village, he arrived at the polling booth in a TVS XL moped.
In the fourth phase of Panchayat elections held on Sunday, Congress leader Raghuveera Reddy along with his wife Sunitha reached the polling booth at Gangulavanipalem of Anantapur district in the moped.
Visuals of Raghuveera riding the bike are going viral on the internet. Many are hailing his simplicity while some expressed sadness to see Raghuveera in such a state.
Raghuveera is staying away from mainstream politics for quite some time now. He is looking after temple construction works. Once the temple works finish, Raghuveera is in thoughts to get back to politics.
