Sarada Peetham Is Adda For YCP Deals: Jana Sena

Jana Sena state general secretary Bolisetty Satyanarayana threw down the gauntlet to Sarada Peetham seer in Vizag and asked him to get endorsed by his peers about his integrity and genuineness. The JS leader, who is also an environmental activist, said that the Peetham turned into an adda for YCP deals.

The Jana Sena leader said that many people in Vizag have doubts over how and when the seer of Sarada Peetham gained enlightenment. Natives of Vizag know the history of the seer and what he used to do at Poorna theatre, he pointed out.

Reiterating that the Peetham is nodal centre for YCP activities, Satyanarayana said people wanting an appointment with Chief Minister Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy or seeking a ticket from the party should visit the seer first.

The YCP, floated by a Christian leader, needs a Hindu tag and Sarada Peetham is being used for that purpose. Jagan went to Sarada Peetham to get branded as a Hindu, Satyanarayana said.

Further, he said that it was not just the seers who are lacking integrity. Political leaders are entering politics only to loot land and sand. Every government, irrespective of political affiliations, is involved in 60:40 ratio looting, he said and lamented that corruption was institutionalised.

The Jana Sena leader fumed at the YCP government for abetting lawlessness in the state. He warned that if anti-social and terror elements were unleashed, the entire society would get destructed, including YCP president Jagan Mohan Reddy and TDP supremo N. Chandrababu Naidu. If this goes beyond a certain limit, it will become very dangerous, akin to riding on a tiger, he said.

“Earlier, democracy was in the ICU but now, it seems to have expired. It is the responsibility of the people, opposition parties and the media together to revive it,” he said.

He said that these days, political leaders are donning two different roles apart from their position in politics. They have become political leaders-cum-financiers-cum-goondas, he pointed out.

In the YCP government, leaders who abuse the Opposition parties and behave like goondas are elevated and given Cabinet berths or MLC posts, he said.
