Seems the ruling TRS party has taken the MLC elections seriously and is doing a wide campaign to counter the BJP. Employment is the primary focus of this election and KTR is strongly pitching his voice that the TRS government has provided over 1.3 Lakh jobs in the last six years.
The BJP is trying its best to counter KTR and accordingly the sitting MLC Ramchander Rao did throw an open challenge to KTR to come for a debate on employment and education at OU Arts College. As KTR did not turn up, Ramchander Rao took to his Twitter and wrote, “I Am Here at Arts College. Where are you, Mr. @KTRTRS? #WhereIsKTR.”
Hitting back at the BJP MLC, KTR added that he is trying to get information on the 12 crore jobs and 15 Lakh money that BJP promised during 2014 elections. “I am busy gathering information on the 12 crore jobs (2Cr per year) & ₹15 lakhs in all Jandhan accounts promised by Hon’ble PM Shri Modi Ji. NDA is the answer so far N – No, D – Data, A – Available. Please share if you have any answers,” tweeted KTR.
Not just KTR, the TRS party’s social media supporters are widely campaigning against the BJP and are countering every anti-TRS campaign made by the opposition.
P.V. Narasimha Rao’s daughter S. Vani Devi is contesting from TRS and the polling will be held on March 14th.
