Jagan Is An Iron Leg: Lokesh

TDP president N. Chandrababu Naidu’s son and former minister N. Lokesh labelled Chief Minister Jagan Mohan Reddy an iron leg. The public had been facing numerous troubles since he assumed power in the state, he said.

He was addressing public at a road show in Vizag, ahead of the civic body polls. Lokesh said that Jagan Reddy proved to be a disaster for Vizag.

“Just a week after the LG Polymers tragedy hit Vizag, people have begun contracting Coronavirus in the city,” he reminded and added that the public are still trying to tackle the pandemic. People never felt happy under Jagan’s rule, he said.

Jagan gives Rs 100 with one hand and tactfully takes Rs 1,000 from the other hand. He boasts a lot about the Rs 100 he had given to the public but does not speak about the taxes and fee he collects in the name of the government, Lokesh pointed out.

Before the panchayat elections, hoardings were put up stating that fine rice would be delivered at the doorsteps of the cardholders. Later, the fine rice turned into quality rice and the door delivery means the vehicles do not come to people’s houses, he pointed out.

Instead, the card holders have to go and stand at the door of the vehicles, Lokesh said, to which there was a big applause from the public in the road show.

For this scheme, around 10,000 vehicles were bought at a cost of Rs 1,000 crore and all that is a waste of money. In place of the scheme, Jagan should have given Sankranti Kanuka, Ramzan Thofa, Christmas Kanuka or even opened the Anna canteens which were shut down after he came to power, the TDP leader suggested.

Since Jagan Reddy was voted to power, the public have been facing numerous troubles, Lokesh lamented and asked the people to get rid of them by voting wisely.
