TDP’s Tweet On YSRC’s ‘Macherla Rowdy’ Goes Viral

TDP’s official Twitter handle yesterday posted a couple of tweets on Macherla YSRCP leader Turaka Kishore being elevated for the Municipal Chairman post by the ruling party.

The tweets reminded Twitterati how Kishore and his supporters had made an attempt to murder on the TDP leaders Bonda Uma and Buddha Venkanna during their campaign ahead of the local elections in Macherla before the lockdown in March last year.

In a couple of strongly worded tweets, calling Turaka Kishore and his supporters as ‘Rowdies’, TDP Twitter called out YSRCP’s audacity to give Kishore a rise as the Municipal Chairman. “Only the people should now decide whether or not to accept this ‘Rowdy garu’. How long will it take for the voters to teach a strong lesson to the YSRCP?,” the tweet read.

Since then, both the tweets have been going viral, with the supporters of the TDP and YSRCP engaging in an intense social media war of words. With photographs and videos of Kishore’s violent attack on the TDP leaders resurfacing online, it remains to be seen if this will make any difference in the upcoming polls.
