Tollywood actor and Hindupur MLA Balakrishna expressed dissatisfaction with the local leaders in his constituency following poor response from the public to his roadshows. In view of the fast approaching civic body polls, the TDP senior leader has been camping in Hindupur for the last two days.
Balayya had been campaigning and addressing public at thoroughfares but the voters are not showing any interest in listening to his words. It could be because the electorate must have been fed up with the legislator’s empty promises. It is also being said that Balakrishna appears before the public only during elections to ask for votes and that is rarely to be seen in his constituency later.
On Friday, he got atop his campaign vehicle which passed through every street in Hindupur trying to grab people’s attention towards him but his attempts proved futile. Annoyed with the poor response, Balakrishna vented out his anger over the party leaders for not preparing the route map properly.
Significantly, the TDP senior leaders stayed away from his campaigning and the reason for this can be anyone’s guess. If Balayya himself can proclaim that no other person can beat him in using abusive language, then it can be easily understood how inconvenient and suffocating people moving close to him can feel, if he is irritated.
Meanwhile, the TDP cadre is also fearing if the poor response to the MLA’s campaigning is any indication to their voting pattern.
