‘Don’t Write Rubbish, Get Out Of This Room’

The ruling YCP MLA has threatened a journalist and used objectionable language for publicising problems that people are facing. Going into details, Guntur district’s Vinukonda MLA Bolla Brahmanaidu called on the media on Sunday for a press meet.

However, the MLA lost his cool after he noticed a newspaper carrying out exclusive feature that had water problem in the Vinukonda town. “Who told you that there is a water supply problem in town? Aren’t these problems there for the past ten years and why are they being highlighted just now? What about the illegal encroachments of the aside lands? Don’t write rubbish. Maintain your diginity,” shouted MLA Bolla at the journalist pointing finger at him.

Other journalists who were present there tried to pacify the MLA but he did not calm down. MLA Bolla lashed out at other journalists too. “I know what each of you are doing. Get out of this room,” yelled the MLA Bolla.

This video of the YCP MLA getting angry at journalists has upset the latter. Journalists said that their job is to bring the issues to the notice of authorities and public representatives and when they do it, they are being targeted.
