Former AP CM YS Rajasekhara Reddy’s daughter YS Sharmila today announced that she will be contesting from Paleru in Khammam in the next general elections. “Pulivendula was my father’s strong fort and Paleru is going to be the same for me. No force can stop us,” Sharmila said.
Sharmila met with her supporters from Khammam at Lotus Pond this morning and made the above statement. She also discussed the strategies and modus operandi to be followed ahead of her party launch in Khammam on April 9th.
On the other hand, in the wake of the sudden spike in Coronavirus cases in Telangana, it looks like Sharmila will be facing several roadblocks before her party launch. The local police and government authorities will take a call on whether or not to permit her grand meeting on April 9th.
