The Covid-19 cases have been reaching panic numbers each day. Maharashtra has recorded more than 60,000 new cases and around 280 Covid-19 related deaths on Tuesday. The CM Uddhav Thackeray ruled out complete lockdown but launched more restrictions from tomorrow and for 15 days more.
Maharashtra CM Udhav Thackeray announced a 15-day ban on large gatherings in the state from tomorrow. CM said the ‘War has begun’ and the cases were exploding dangerously. CM Udhav Thackeray said from Wednesday, Section 144 will be imposed and only essential travel would be allowed. Only from 7 am to 8 pm, essential services would function and the night curfew will come into action.
The only services that will be allowed are medical, banks, media, E-Commerce, and fuel. The CM also requested the army’s help in tackling the oxygen and medicine shortage in the state.
