Congress senior leader Rahul Gandhi has been tested positive for Covid-19. 50-year-old Rahul has mild symptoms of Covid. This is just two days after former PM Manmohan Singh has tested positive and admitted to AIIMs.
“After experiencing mild symptoms, I’ve just tested positive for COVID. All those who’ve been in contact with me recently, please follow all safety protocols and stay safe,” Rahul Gandhi tweeted.
Rahul has aggressively campaigned for the Congress party in West Bengal. He had suspended all his election rallies in Bengal two days ago with the alarming rise in the Covid cases.
It can be noted that the CMs of five states have been tested positive. Uttar Pradesh CM Yogi Adityanath, Telangana CM KCR, Kerala CM Pinarayi Vijayan, Karnataka CM Yediyurappa and Tamil Nadu CM Palaniswami were among those who have tested positive.
