Will Hang Anyone Who Obstructs Oxygen Supply: Delhi HC

The Delhi High Court has made a sensational comment that the court will hang anyone who obstructs oxygen supply in the national capital. As we know Delhi is the second worst affected state of second wave and many hospitals are running short of medical oxygen supply due to which Covid-19 patients are dying.

Despite requesting the authorities, the oxygen supply has not improved in the NCR. With no other options, many hospitals have knocked the Delhi High Court and requested the court to direct concerned authorities to supply oxygen.

Reacting to the petition of hospitals, the Delhi High Court said, “if any official at the central, state or local administration was obstructing in the picking up or supply of oxygen, then we will hang that man. We will not spare anyone.”

The Delhi HC also further commented that this is not second wave, this is tsunami and told the Delhi government inform the Centre about the medical oxygen supply and it’s requirement at hospitals all over the NCR.

The comments by Delhi HC is an evidence of the grave situation in the state.
