Reddy To Get Health Ministry Yet Again?

Ousting Etala Rajender from the Health ministry has left the portfolio vacant. Even though CM KCR has kept the health ministry with himself, it’s Chief Secretary Somesh Kumar who is shouldering the responsibility with day-to-day reviews. Under these circumstances there are strong rumours within the TRS party that soon the health ministry will be allotted to someone.

And from the TRS insiders we hear that it will be Jadcherla MLA C Laxma Reddy. Well he was the first health minister of Telangana state and in the second term of TRS government, he did not get an opportunity. Now that Etala has been expelled, Laxma Reddy has high chances of grabbing the opportunity.

But these discussions are within the TRS leaders and ultimately it will be Telangana CM KCR’s call on whom to give ministry. Earlier there were rumours that KCR is planning for a cabinet expansion in May or June. But due to the second wave, it could not happen yet we can’t rule out the chances next month.

Within the TRS many are anticipating ministry and despite the competition, KCR wants to play it safe and Laxma Reddy has ample of experience in handling this portfolio.
