Amid the chaos due to bed shortage, the spike in the number of cases, unavailability of ventilator support, and rise in deaths, many states have been imposing either partial or full lockdown to control the virus spread. But, Telangana’s CM KCR ruled out the question of imposing lockdown in the state.
KCR said there will not be any lockdown in Telangana. The CM also said the states that have already imposed the lockdown have not seen any progress with Covid cases’ decline.
The Telangana CM said the lockdown paralyzes day-to-day life along with the collapse of revenue sources and systems. KCR said he had talked with Prime Minister Modi about the Oxygen and vaccine supplies.
The night curfew is going to end this 8th (Saturday) and there were speculations about the weekend lockdown. KCR cleared the air confirmingcomfirming that there will be no lockdown in Telangana.
