AP High Court Strikes Off RRR’s Bail Petition

In a major setback to the Narsapuram MP Raghu Ramakrishnam Raju, the Andhra Pradesh High Court has squashed his bail petition. Post this dramatic arrest on Friday evening in Hyderabad, lawyers of RRR filed a house motion petition last night in AP High Court. This petition’s turn came up in the Noon hours.

The High Court turned down the bail petition but suggested MP RRR to approach a sessions court for bail. The Court has ordered the CID police to produce RRR before the CID court and go to a lower court instead of approaching the High Court.

Meanwhile the CID police who have brought the Narsapuram MP from Hyderabad to Guntur are questioning him continuously. DG Sunil Kumar is probing this case and he placed the YouTube videos of RRR comments against YCP government before the MP and was asked for his explanation.

The MP RRR was booked under IPC 124A which is a sedition law against a state government. Raghu Ramakrishnam Raju has been accused as A1 while news channels TV5 is listed as A2 and ABN AndhraJyothy as A3.
