Post Bifurcation, We lost cities like Hyd, B’lore & Chennai: CM Jagan

AP CM YS Jagan has made shocking comments in AP Assembly during the budget sessions. Addressing the Assembly on budget, Jagan said in the last 23 months, his government ensured every beneficiary got the assistance of the welfare schemes introduced irrespective of caste, creed, region and political affiliation.

However, Jagan expressed regret that there is no tier one city in AP which could be a major resource for revenue. This is when Jagan slipped his tongue and made shocking comments. “Post bifurcation, AP had no tier one city. Tier one in the sense cities like Hyderabad, Bengaluru and Chennai. We lost such big cities,” said Jagan.

But it’s a big wonder that how come Bengaluru and Chennai are part of erstwhile Andhra Pradesh. These comments of Jagan have taken the internet by storm and netizens have trolled the AP CM mercilessly. Memes and GIPHYs on Jagan are posted on social media and are questioning him how come a politician without basic knowledge of cities became the CM.
