Conversions Are Happening In A Big Way In AP: YSRCP MP

Already, the YS Jagan Mohan Reddy government has been receiving a nationwide criticism for its controversial decision to auction the TTD properties. Now, YSRCP’s Narsapuram Lok Sabha MP Raghu Ramakrishna Raju has dropped a new bomb on his party and his comments have become a hot topic of discussion.

In a latest interview with a national news channel over the TTD lands controversy, Raghu Ramakrishna Raju said that religious conversions are happening in a big way in Andhra Pradesh. The MP said that Christian missionaries are using the money power that’s coming in from abroad to carry out the conversions and build churches in the state.

However, Raju was quick to add that the YSRCP government is not encouraging these conversions and that not only in Andhra Pradesh. “It’s being projected now after Jagan Mohan Reddy took charge as the CM. Conversions are happening on a massive scale in every Indian state from a long time. India is a secular country,” the MP said.
