Govt Nods For Anandayya’s Concoction

In a major development, AP state government is keen to give its nod to the Ayurvedic concoction developed by Anandayya from Krishnapatnam which is said to be playing crucial role in curing and preventing Covid-19.

AP Principal Secretary for Medical & Health Anil Singhal stated that Anandayya’s concoction has no side effects and the state government is keen to allow the supply of it to people soon. He corroborated that it is proved that the elements used in Concoction has no bad effects which he said is welcome sign.He added that the state government is waiting for the final report of the Experts Committee appointed on the Anandayya’s concoction. He made these statements at a press briefing at Vijayawada.

However, Anil Singhal said that Anandayya’s concoction wouldn’t be considered as ‘Ayurveda Medicine’ for Covid-19. He said for this to be called as ‘Medicine’, it has to go through the process of the Central Government’s rules and regulations and only after it gets formal approval from the Centre, it may be called as ‘Medicine’. He said that the process is elaborate and it requires to meet several rules and permissions. Hence, Anil Singhal said that the Concoction to be supplied as Immunity Booster.
