RRR Discharged From Hospital, Flies To Delhi

YCP rebel MP Raghurama Krishna Raju, arrested in connection with a sedition case by the Andhra Pradesh CID and allegedly tortured by the sleuths during custody, was discharged from the Army Hospital in Secunderabad a few hours ago.

The MP reached Begumpet airport from the hospital and left for Delhi in a special flight for better treatment at AIIMS in the national capital.

The Andhra Pradesh CID registered cases against the Narasapuram MP on charges of defamation of the government. Then he was arrested when he visited his family in Hyderabad and shifted to Guntur.

The MP filed a bail petition in the apex court alleging that he was tortured by the CID sleuths when in custody. Following the Supreme Court order, the MP was rushed to the Army Hospital in Secunderabad for treatment. The court also issued his bail on health grounds.

Following Raju’s request, he was discharged from the hospital after giving him rest for a couple of days as he said that his legs were paining and that his blood pressure was fluctuating.
