Same Old Saga Over T-PCC!

Some things never change in Congress especially in the Telangana wing. The new T-PCC chief appointment is taking much longer than anticipated. Initially the Congress high command planned to announce a new T-PCC for New Year and now it’s June. Yet there is no sign from the high command and upset with this senior leader V Hanumantha Rao has written to Sonia Gandhi.

Venting out his frustration, VH said, post the defeat in Kerala Assembly elections, PCC chief was immediately changed there and wondered why it is not happening in Telangana. Since 2018, Congress has lost every election and in-charges are not doing anything to review the party status in the state.

“Take the case of Jana Reddy. In the 2018 elections, he lost the polls by seven thousand votes and in the recent by-poll, the margin grew by eighteen thousands votes. Still there is no change in leadership,” said VH.

Suggesting that the high command should talk to the seniors and take their inputs on how to strengthen the party in the region, VH said the party is in such a status that when someone abuses him, there is no one to pacify.

Meanwhile the competition for T-PCC is growing. Already Revanth Reddy, Komatireddy Venkatreddy, Jagga Reddy have announced that they are in the race and joining them is former MP Madhuyashki Goud.
