In what could be a huge development, the Lok Sabha Speaker Om Birla has responded to the privilege motion notices issued by Narsapuram MP Raghu Rama Krishna Raju against the YCP government, AP DGP, AP CID.
RRR complained that he was harassed and ill-treated by the AP CID while he was arrested on May 14th. Not just RRR, his son Bharat, TDP MPs Kanakamedala and Rammohan Naidu too lodged a complaint with the Lok Sabha Speaker. Taking all the complaints into cognisance, Speaker Om Birla has asked details from the secretary of Union Home Ministry.
The Lok Sabha Speaker’s office asked the Home Ministry to send the details of the whole controversy within 15 days.
Considering the health report of RRR prepared by Army hospital in Secunderabad as per Supreme Court’s directions, all these details might be included in the Home Ministry’s report.
This could invite more troubles for the Jagan government.
