Revanth Reddy Playing It Smart!

The Indian National Congress party is known for being extremely democratic. Leaders of Congress often criticise their leadership or their fellow Congressmen but patch up in no time. Despite being critical of high command, leaders to extensive lobby for tickets during the elections and then things appear all is well. The Congress high command too doesn’t expel its leaders for negative remarks but somehow makes them mend their ways.

In Telangana Congress, group politics are common and ever since the appointment of Revanth Reddy as new Telangana PCC chief, many seniors have expressed their deep disappointment. The political observers were wondering how Revanth would handle the seniors who are upset. Having knowledge of this dissent, Revanth Reddy is acting smartly to avoid unnecessary troubles in his early days as T-PCC chief.

In his first shocking act, Revanth met his staunch opponent within T-Congress, V Hanumantha Rao who was getting treated at a private hospital in Hyderabad. Revanth wished for VH’s speedy recovery and latter congratulated on becoming the new T-PCC chief. Later Revanth met the likes of Renuka Chowdary and other seniors and asked for their support in fighting against the TRS government.

On the other matters, Revanth said he would be initiating ‘Ghar Wapasi’ on those leaders who have quit Congress and joined TRS. For this, Revanth is planning to take the seniors along. But for the PCC post many seniors competed with Revanth. If all the seniors have shared a common platform and proposed a joint name, the new PCC boss would have been any other person.

But having noticed the seniors’ group politics, the Congress high command has preferred Revanth Reddy’s name who is a junior. Revanth too knew exactly what the high command was thinking and so made tactical moves. Regarding the seniors, Revanth is playing smart that he would work with them for the strengthening of the party. Overall, Revanth has some big plans not just to tackle the TRS government but also to revamp the T-Congress which hasn’t been doing much to attract the people.
